Depend on lighting condition and angle, water chemistry, etc.
these will show dark Blue and Purple (rather than Green) color,
I guess they have more Red and Blue iridophores and fewer Yellow color cells.

CORYDORAS

Cory Catfish are hardy fish for their size
and are staples in freshwater community tanks.
Cory Catfish are often described as armored catfish,
due to their plates of bone-like material
running the length of their bodies.
There are many different Cory Catfish types,
all varying in size and color,
but Bronze Cory Catfish are probably the most common.
The good news is that Cory Catfish care is easy regardless of the type.
Because Cory Catfish care is basically effortless,
they are especially popular with beginner hobbyists.

SNAILS

Ramshorn snails (Planorbis rubrum) are good for any freshwater tank.
I use ramshorn snails to control algae and to eat uneaten food.
Snails move slowly so the guppies have a chance to pick food off the bottom.
Also, these snails server as some special indicator of a tank water quality,
if all ramshorn snails have raised up from the tank bottom to the water surface,
it means that there’s something wrong with the tank water and it’s time for water renew.
Also it is said that these snails feed on tank plants, but this isn’t true.
The misunderstanding occurs when someone sees the snails on the leaves of rotting
or dead tank plants and takes them for a reason of this,
however the snails are just eating the plant which has already been dead.
All ramshorn snails have rather weak teeth to make a hole in a plant,
though they’ll eagerly feed on rotting or already dead tank plant.

more in warm, less in cool.

AQUARIUM PLANTS

JAVA MOSS

java-moss

Java Moss (Vesicularia dubyana) is fairly undemanding.
It can be left floating or attached to a surface like wood or rockwork
(anchor in place with fishing line
or another tie and remove the ties when plant has attached).
It will form mats that provide hiding places for inverts and fish fry
as well as a low foreground texture to the aquarium.
It is adaptable to a wide range of aquarium conditions.

Mosses are sold in small loose portions, but we offer very large portion for sale!

NOTE:
The identification of “Java Moss” has been disputed in recently years
with some proposing the true scientific classification as Taxiphyllum barbieri
rather than Vesicularia dubyana.
However,
this identification cannot be confirmed because of the lack of spores and other data.

is an ideal aquatic plant for beginners.

PELLIA

Pellia aquarium plants

3″ x 3″ x 2″ thick portion

The liverwort Monosolenium tenerum,
also called Pellia,
it’s a nice deep green and grows quite slowly.

Water Sprite

Water Sprite floating aquarium plants
The Water Sprite, also known as the Indian Fern,
is a great plant to use as a mid-ground plant
and also as a floating plant.
The delicate,
lacy leaves also make great cover for fry to hide among.
Due to its poor root system,
the Water Sprite retrieves nutrients from the water.

The Water Sprite will grow profusely
under the correct conditions,
and for this reason,
is excellent at removing unwanted
and unhealthy inorganic nutrients
from the aquarium water.
In smaller aquariums with open tops,
the Water Sprite can grow out of the tank
and form beautiful surface leaves.
The delicately branched leaves are very decorative
and provide good contrast to other leaf shapes.
